We've analyzed several contestants for essential key qualities that define a dictator, such as:
- Invading other countries
- restricting people's basic freedoms and civil liberties

torturing of humans and animals
- possession of weapons of mass destruction
- consistently ignoring the voices of reason
- destruction of self incriminating evidence
- making laws without restraint
- unaccountability
- megalomania
- mass misleading of the public
- destruction of the country's economy and well being
- rampant use of military force and police brutality
- unbased religious beliefs
in a man-made deity
As you can see all the these belong in the arsenal of the successful dictator. We've checked very thoroughly in order to make sure we got only the best dictator and we know we can't be beaten!
And the decision here at the office was unanimous (mostly because it's an office of one), and we very proudly and indisputably award the 2007 Dictator Of the Year Award to, none other...
